The Attorney You Need After An Accident
As the founder of The Law Office of Dennis Dean Smejkal, P.A., I understand the challenges of the workers' compensation system. Injured workers have rights, but it can be hard to fully understand those rights due to the complex nature of workers' compensation.
The good news is: I am here to help you. I will advocate for your needs now and in the future. An experienced lawyer can protect your interests and make sure you are getting the care you need after being injured at work.
Who I Represent And How I Can Help
I represent workers and their families in Orlando and throughout Central Florida with all types of workers' compensation issues, including filing for benefits, appealing denied claims, explaining your options for medical treatment and any unique factors specific to your case.
Certified police officers, firefighters and corrections officers are covered under the Heart and Lung Bill when they are injured on the job. I have extensive experience representing first responders in workers' compensation claims, and I know what steps to take in the cases to help you get the benefits you deserve.
